Charges have been laid in connection with a child exploitation investigation in northern New Brunswick.

RCMP arrested a 53-year-old man in Petit-Rocher-Ouest in March after a search of a home where several electronic devices were seized.

The man is charged with possession of and making child pornography available.

He was released from custody on strict conditions pending a future court appearance.

The man is scheduled to return to court on April 22 at 9:30 a.m.

An investigation by RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit was launched in September 2022.
