UPDATE: Homicide On Echo Drive In Moncton Under Investigation

The RCMP Major Crime Unit is investigating a murder in the Echo Drive area.

Officers were responded at around 1am this morning for a report of an injured man lying on the road.

The 45-year-old man died at the scene.

Police are continuing to search for another man who was seen fleeing the scene on foot.

An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death.

RCMP says they believe this is an isolated incident.
