Georges Dumont Hospital Still Struggling With Overcrowding

Medical staff at Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton and Vitalite Health Network are working together to come up with solutions for overcrowding in its Emergency Department.

President of the Medical and Dental Staff Dr. Remi Leblanc says the past few weeks have been difficult due to high demand in the ER.

He adds the situation remains challenging, but they have been looking at ways of how they can work together to develop an action plan and find solutions to improve operations.

This comes just days after the alleged attack of a nurse by the 69 year old husband of a patient.

He was arrested but no charges have been laid yet.
