The focus was on Kevin Vickers today, as he made it official.
The former House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms and the retired Ambassador to Ireland announced he hopes to become the leader of the New Brunswick Liberal party.
Vickers has been hailed a hero for helping to stop an attack on Parliament Hill in 2014.
Brian Gallant officially announced last year, he was resigning from his role as leader of the New Brunswick Liberal party.
A new leader will be chosen in Saint John on June 22.
