RCMP are investigating an assault at the Dumont Hospital in Moncton this week which involved a staff member.
A 69-year-old Kent County man was taken into custody following the incident on Monday afternoon around 2pm.
Police confirm the victim was an employee at the Dumont Hospital and needed medical treatment.
The man from Acadieville was released from custody with a promise to appear in court on June 4th.
