Special Olympics Provincial Winter Games To Be Held Feb. 21 to 24

More than 300 Special Olympic athletes and coaches from New Brunswick and PEI are ready to compete.

Their Provincial Winter Games are being held in Miramichi over the next four days.

Athletes are entered in floor hockey, curling, snowshoeing and bowling.

Opening ceremonies get underway at 6pm tonight.

This event is a qualifier for the upcoming 2020 Special Olympics Winter Games that will be held in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
