Swimmers Wanted For H20 Masters Club

If you are looking for a low impact activity, and you are over the age of 18, H20 Masters may be what you are looking for.

It is a swim club for adults who love the sport of swimming.

Spokesperson Christine Aube says she used to be a synchronized swimmer and as she got older, she tried other activities like walking, but it didn’t give her the same satisfaction as swimming does, “The fact that we are all people who love to swim. You just happy and it feels good. It is a low impact sport, so as I am getting older I find it is good because the chances of injury are low.”

Aube says the club is open to both recreational and competitive swimmers.

“There certainly is a place for people who would like to compete. I think the next big one is the Nationals in Montreal. Sometimes it draws the attention of some because it it were further, there are some people that could not make it.”

There’s an opportunity to swim up to three times a week, at the Dieppe Aquatic Centre.
