Suspect Sought In Armed Robbery

Codiac RCMP is investigating an armed robbery at a Needs Convenience on Morton Avenue in Moncton.

Sergeant Louis Robichaud says a man with his face covered entered the convenience store at around 9pm Sunday night and told the clerk he had a weapon.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers searched the area using police dogs, but there have been no arrests yet.

The man is described as 6 feet tall, with a medium to heavy build and wearing a dark hooded jacket.
