Moncton Wildcats Release Head Coach

The Head Coach of the Moncton Wildcats will not be behind the bench for the remainder of the season.

Darren Rumble was relieved of his duties this afternoon.

It was his 6th season as head coach.

“I want to thank Darren for his contributions to the Wildcats for the past five and a half years and wish him all the best. His efforts with the team were greatly appreciated,” said Robert K. Irving, President of the Moncton Wildcats.

Josh Hepditch has been named interim head coach.

“These decisions are never easy. We have a young team with a lot of potential but given the recent results, we felt it was time to make a change,” Irving says.

An announcement on a new head coach is expected in the near future
