New Brunswick RCMP are investigating the death of 52-year-old woman in St. Stephen on Christmas Eve.
Corporal Jullie Rogers-Marsh tells us police were called to a home on Schoodic Street just after 11 in the morning, regarding a dispute.
“When police arrived, they found a 52-year old woman from St. Stephen deceased, and a 55-year old man from Willow Ridge unresponsive, and we are investigating the death of the woman as a homicide.”
The man was taken to hospital where he remains with serious injuries and an autopsy is scheduled to help determine the victim’s cause of death.
Police believe the man and woman were known to each other.
