65.4% Of NBers Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Public Health says nearly 5,600 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered in New Brunswick on Tuesday.

The latest figures show more than 4,500 people across the province received their second dose of a vaccine.

A total of 65.4 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are now fully vaccinated, up from 64.7 per cent.

More than 1,000 additional residents received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday.

That means 81.7 per cent of New Brunswickers aged 12 and older now have at least one dose of a vaccine.

A series of mobile vaccination clinics are taking place throughout the province for those who have not yet received their first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Juniper Recreation Centre, 6840 Route 107, Juniper, today, July 28, between noon and 4 p.m.
  • Recreation Centre, 160 Klokkedahl Hill Rd., New Denmark, Thursday, July 29, between noon and 5 p.m.
  • Saint-Paul Golden Age Club, 6532 Route 515, Saint-Paul, Thursday, July 29, between noon and 6 p.m.
  • Knights of Columbus Hall, 22 Hallett Rd., Beechwood, Friday, July 30, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Several community clinics are also talking walk-ins without appointments on Wednesday.

  • Miramichi, Miramichi Exhibition Building, 9 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. (18 years and older-Moderna)
  • Saint John, Exhibition Park, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (18 years and older-Moderna)
  • Saint John, St. Mark’s Church, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (18 years and older-AstraZeneca)
