Feedback sought for 2024-25 N.B. budget

Pre-budget consultations for 2024-25 are underway and the province wants to hear from you.

New Brunswickers are invited to provide their feedback on how their tax dollars are spent.

“I would encourage New Brunswickers to take the time to consider what is important to them and share their ideas with us,” says Finance and Treasury Board Minister Ernie Steeves.

Residents have until February 29 to send their comments and feedback by email to wwwfin@gnb.ca.

A discussion document has also been prepared by the Finance and Treasury Board with questions relating to priority areas:

  • What opportunities are there to improve access to health care?
  • What supports are needed to help the province’s vulnerable population?
  • What supports are needed to create an inclusive and innovative education system to empower students to reach their full potential?
  • What steps can be taken to increase the supply of housing?

More information is available online.
