Closures Affecting Mill Creek Nature Park

Construction at Mill Creek Nature park in Riverview will mean a temporary closure this week.

It won’t be accessible on Thursday and will be partially closed on Friday and Saturday morning.

The times of closure are as follows:

A full closure on Thursday, September 15 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m,
Partial closure from 4 p.m on Thursday, September 15 to 6 a.m. Saturday, September 17. This is along Runneymeade to the bottom of the dam

Crews will be installing new stairs to connect the bottom of the dam to the lookout.

The staircase will not be available until later on this month, to ensure safety.

Residents are being asked to stay away from that area until all barricades have been removed.
