Fire has destroyed a detached garage and caused extensive damage to a Riverview home.
The fire on Woodstock Avenue broke out at around 2 pm Saturday.
When Riverview Fire and Rescue arrived, the garage was fully engulfed and the fire had spread to the bungalow.
Fire Chief Robin True says firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the garage fire and limit further spread into the residence.
There is also extensive water damage to the home, and fire damage to the siding on the residence next door.

Two adults have been displaced. One was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Seventeen firefighters were on scene for over four hours. Moncton Fire also assisted.
The cause is still under investigation.
