Riverview Men Face 27 Charges After Fleeing From RCMP

A lengthy list of charges has been laid against two Riverview men after they fled from RCMP following an attempted home invasion in Nova Scotia.

Forty-two-year-old Christopher Glennie faces 12 charges while 36-year-old Nathan O’Brien faces 15 charges which include fleeing from police, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of property obtained by crime.

On Tuesday night, Nova Scotia RCMP alerted Southeast RCMP about two men in a vehicle heading west on the Trans Canada Highway.

A spike belt was laid near Dieppe and the vehicle stopped but the two men ran off into the woods.

The pair were later tracked down by a police dog.

The two men remain in custody until a bail hearing Friday afternoon.

Both are expected to face additional charges in Nova Scotia.
