Moncton Alerts to notify subscribers of winter parking bans

Moncton is making changes to the way residents will be made aware of parking restrictions this winter.

Overnight parking will still be permitted on most streets between midnight and 7 am, but if snow clearing and ice removal are to be done, a parking ban will be put into place.

If your vehicle is parked on the street during a ban, it is at risk of being towed or ticketed.

By subscribing to the Moncton Alerts system, you’ll receive a notification by 4 pm.

Winter parking restrictions are in place from December 1 to April 15.

To sign up for email or text message notifications of parking bans, or to review your notification preferences, log in to monctonalerts.ca.

Go to the “Subscription” page and select the types of notifications you want to receive.
