Town of Riverview implementing new winter parking restrictions

New winter parking restrictions in the Town of Riverview go into effect next month.

Spokesperson Ashly Barron says the new system will launch December 1st, “This year, instead of having a blanket winter parking ban, like years past where it was just on from December 1 to April 1, no exceptions, we’re doing something similar to the update that Moncton implemented last year.”

Overnight parking will only be restricted when snow clearing and removal operations are expected or being done.

When they are in place, parking will not be permitted between midnight and 7 a.m.

Notification of overnight parking restrictions will be done via the new alert system that was recently launched in the Town of Riverview.
