Explosion at Canada’s High Commision in Nigeria kills two people: Joly

An explosion at Canada’s High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria has left two people dead.

Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly says it started as a fire, which has since been put out.

Details are few at this time and it is unclear whether the two who died are Canadians.

Joly says they are working to determine what caused the tragedy.
