Private Retailers To Be Chosen To Sell Cannabis in New Brunswick

Cannabis NB is expanding to include private retail stores.

They will be owned and operated privately, but will offer a number of products sourced from Cannabis NB.

“We are looking forward to expanding our offering to include private retail in New Brunswick,” said Lori Stickles, CEO of Cannabis NB. “The goal of having private retail locations is to combat the illicit market by providing better access to safe, regulated cannabis products in underserved areas of the province.”

There are 10 private retail store locations available this fiscal year that will be selected through a public
tender process.

The communities included in the tender are:
• Hampton
• St. Andrews
• Grand Bay
• Bouctouche
• Caraquet
• Dalhousie
• St-Quentin
• Blackville
• Chipman
• Salisbury

The private retail tender application process began September 6, 2022.
