Fredericton man facing child porn charges

A 64-year-old Fredericton man has been charged in connection with an investigation into child pornography offences.

On May 3, members of the RCMP ICE Unit, RCMP Digital Forensic Services and the Fredericton Police Force, searched a home in Fredericton, and a man was arrested at the scene and was later released.

On October 16, charges of possession of child pornography, and accessing child pornography were laid.

The New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit includes members from the Saint John Police Force and the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force. The RCMP’s Digital Forensic Services Unit, the Fredericton Police Force and the RCMP National Child Exploitation Crime Centre were also involved in this investigation.
