Open Houses to be held for Fire Prevention Week

As a part of Fire Prevention Week from October 9 to 14, three open houses will be held at fire stations in the Tri-Communities.

They’ll all be held on October 14th.

In the Town of Riverview, it’ll be held from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Residents can learn more about the town’s new alert system for things like winter parking bans and emergency measure notifications. It’ll start with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Riverview Lions Club.

The City of Moncton will hold its open house at the Hildegard Fire Station from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with fire trucks and rescue vehicles displays, and a Jaws of Life demonstration.

The City of Dieppe is also inviting residents to the fire station on Gauvin Road from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

There will be information booths, fire station tours and truck displays.
