Charges have now been laid after a fatal crash earlier this year in Charlotte County.
On April 19, a 16-year-old girl from Upper Letang was killed in a crash on Route 778 in Pennfield.
A 17-year-old appeared in court on Tuesday and was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
The youth is scheduled to appear in court next Wednesday.
