Popeye’s Chicken Restaurant To Open In Moncton

Famous fried chicken is coming to the Hub City.

The media team for Popeye’s Chicken restaurant has confirmed to Acadia News that construction is underway on Mountain Road in Moncton.

The new restaurant is tentatively scheduled to open by the end of 2022.

It’s one of two known locations in New Brunswick that will see the famous fried chicken restaurant open its doors.

News broke yesterday that Saint John will also be getting a Popeye’s Restaurant, set to open in 2023.

Currently, Halifax is the only location in Atlantic Canada.

It opened in March of this year, creating such a frenzy that patrons lined up for hours just to get a taste.
