Fatal crash in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska

A 47-year-old man has been killed in a two-vehicle crash in Northern New Brunswick.

RCMP says a pickup truck and a dirtbike collided on Sunday afternoon on Deuxieme Sault Road in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska.

The driver of the dirt bike was rushed to hospital where he later died of injuries.

A passenger in the pickup suffered minor injuries.

The Edmundston Police Force, Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist also attended the scene.

A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
