Extensive damage after a kitchen fire in a Riverview home.
The fire broke out at around 4 pm Wednesday afternoon in a fourplex on Amberley Court.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze containing the damage to one unit.
Fire Chief Robin True says there is heavy fire damage in the kitchen area and extensive smoke damage to the home.
One person has been displaced.
Moncton Fire, Ambulance NB and NB Power also assisted on the scene.
There’s no word on a cause yet.
