RCMP announced that three members of the Codiac Regional RCMP as well as a Codiac RCMP cellblock guard are self-isolating.
It’s a precautionary measure due to an exposure that occurred on February 12.
Officers arrested a man after responding to a report of an intoxicated individual in Moncton. After Transporting him to the station the officers learned that the individual had tested positive for COVID-19.
All members involved are believed to have been wearing face coverings and precautions have been taken.
The New Brunswick RCMP are working with Public Health to monitor the situation.
