Visitor Appreciation Day At The Magnetic Hill Zoo

It’s all about the visitors today at the Magnetic Hill Zoo.

Today, August 25, is their annual Visitor Appreciation Day.

Admission rates are discounted, at only $10.

Director Jill Marvin says their new wallabies are making themselves at home, “Doing great in their big new exhibit. Yesterday, we just got the signs up and gradually we’ve been allowing a few people in beginning today. They’re a little timid. We are certainly respecting privacy. They are beautiful animals to see and we really want to inspire people and raise awareness on how to protect them in the wild.”

Zookeepers will be offering additional presentations today with the animals as well.

The Zoo is open from 9-5 today.
