RCMP warns about online buy and sell scam

RCMP is trying to get more information about an online buy-and-sell scam.

Surveillance photos have now been released as RCMP tries to obtain more information into an online scam that affected a Sackville resident.

A trailer that had been reported stolen from the Moncton area was recovered in Sackville on February 12.

The trailer was purchased online but the buyer later realized the registration documents were fake. Police say the seller in the scam used the name, Mike Hudson.

The first individual is described as a man wearing a black toque, black jacket, black pants, and tan work boots. The second individual is described as a woman wearing a black toque, a black jacket, black pants, and tall black boots. They were last seen driving a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Anyone who has information that could help further the investigation, or who has had dealings with this seller, is asked to contact the Sackville RCMP at 506-364-5023. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
