Riverview Mayor reacts to vandalism at Rebecca Schofield Park

The Riverview Mayor says there is no place for racism or discrimination in the Town.

This comes after the Rebecca Schofield All World Super Play Park was vandalized with images of swastikas and vulgarity this week.

Andrew Leblanc adds this was a form of hate crime.

Members of the Jewish community have also stated they are deeply disturbed by this crime.

He says the Town is working closely with the Anglophone East School District and the RCMP in the hopes the offenders can be brought to justice.
