Poll results from Second Street.org found positive support for letting parents know about transitioning students and their pronouns.
Over 1500 Canadian were polled online at the beginning of May.
In Atlantic Canada, the opinions were strong for those who feel the public school system has gone in the wrong direction over the past 20 years.
That number came in at 64 percent.
Even more felt parents should be informed if their child is talking about changing pronouns or plans to transition.
Forty-three 43 percent felt classroom materials about gender identity and sensitive race-related topics should be put on school websites, so parents can read them ahead of time.
