Heavy, wet snow blankets parts of N.B.

The storm didn’t pack as much of a punch as first anticipated, but the snow was heavy and wet as expected.

Around 10 to 15 centimetres of snow fell depending on where you live.

Snowfall warnings remain in effect for Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick.

Areas including Saint John, Sussex, St. Stephen, Kennebecasis and Grand Manan are still under special weather statements.

The snow and light rain overnight are creating some issues on the roads in the Southern, Central and Southeastern parts of the province this morning.

Anglophone South, Anglophone East and Francophone South Schools Districts have delayed buses by one hour this morning. Schools will open on time.

Francophone South schools in Baie St. Anne, Bouctouche, Cocagne, Miramichi, Notre-Dame, Richibucto, Rogersville, Saint-Antoine, Saint-Anne-de Kent, and Saint-Louis-de-Kent are closed today.
