Snow Forecast For North NB, Rain For South

If you have plans to travel to the northern part of the province today, hopefully you’ve put your snow tires on.

Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for areas including Bathurst, campbellton, Edmundston, and Grand Falls.

They are calling for up to 20 centimetres of snow to fall in those areas.

The remainder of the province is under a special weather statement, with a mix of precipitation expected, including a little bit of snow, rain and dicey road conditions are expected.

Windchills in Greater Moncton are going to fall below zero and into the double digits tonight and tomorrow
