Biggest fundraising year-to-date for CNOY

Hundreds walked to raise funds for those experiencing hurt, homelessness and hunger in Greater Moncton.

They took part in the Coldest Night of Year event on February 25.

Locally, it was the biggest year to date, raising almost $148, 000 to aid in the work of Youth Impact Jeunesse.

Participants walked two or five kilometres from The Community Peace Centre on Church Street.

Fundraising continues until March 31.

CNOY is held each year across the country, and thousands participate in over 180 communities across Canada.
