Norovirus suspends visits to hospital unit

Visits to the 3rd F (Rehabilitation and Geriatric Unit) at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre(UHC) in Moncton have been temporarily suspended until further notice.

The Vitalité Health Network says this is due to a norovirus outbreak in that unit.

The ban applies to designated support persons (DSPs) as well as general visitors. DSPs are permitted to be present for end-of-life patients.
