Coldest Night Of The Year Set For February 25th

Local residents are encouraged to once again walk to raise awareness of the Coldest Night of the Year.

This event supports those experiencing hunger, hurt and homelessness across the country.

Tens of thousands of people take part every year in over 180 communities.

Locally this year, the Moncton walk begins and ends at The Community Peace Centre, located at 22 Church Street.

Participants will walk a two-kilometre or five-kilometre route on February 25th.

Their goal is to raise $200, 000 to support transitional housing and Youth Quest Central programs.

This is Youth Impact Jeunesse’s 10th year taking part in the Coldest Night of the Year.
