Memramcook Municipal Building Extensively Damaged

The Municipal building for the Village of Memramcook has been extensively damaged due to a water main break.

It happened last weekend during extreme cold temperatures on February 4 and 5.

All areas of the building on Centrale Street including the council chambers, administrative offices, and the public library have been forced to close until further notice.

Repairs are planned, but new office space is being set up at the Eugene LeBlanc arena until restoration work is complete.

Activities that were to take place at the Municipal Building or the Memramcook Public Library are being moved or cancelled.
