2015 Capital Budget Process Begins In City of Moncton

The 2015 budget process has begun for the City of Moncton.

Chief Financial Officer John Martin unveiled a capital budget at last night’s city council meeting with almost 34 million dollars in spending for next year.

Along with road repairs, some of the big items on the agenda include replacing Centennial Beach, a potential north end community centre, upgrading the police station and the proposed downtown centre.

City council will begin deliberations on the capital budget on Thursday afternoon.
