$200K worth of drugs seized in wooded area: RCMP

Mounties have seized up to $200,000 worth of drugs from a wooded area in eastern New Brunswick.

Officers were conducting a search for an unrelated investigation near West Branch Road in West Branch on Sunday.

During the search, they discovered 40,000 pills of suspected methamphetamine, weighing about 18 kilograms.

RCMP are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area in recent months.
