Two men have been charged following an armed robbery at a bank in Riverview.

Officers responded to the business on Findlay Boulevard around 3:15 p.m. on May 12.

Two men had entered the bank and fled the scene with cash before officers arrived.

One of them was allegedly armed with a firearm and pointed it at a teller, according to police.

Two days later, officers arrested a 64-year-old man and searched a residence, a hotel room and a vehicle.

They seized a large amount of cash, clothing, drugs and other items related to the investigation.

The following day, police searched a Dieppe residence and seized cash, a BB gun, a cellphone and clothing. A 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

Both accused are charged with robbery with a firearm and disguise with intent. They have been remanded into custody with future court dates.
