2 arrested in Kingston Peninsula drug investigation

RCMP have arrested two people in connection with a drug investigation on the Kingston Peninsula.

Officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Route 845 back on Aug. 13, police said Thursday.

Police seized suspected methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as unsafely stored firearms, prohibited firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition and a taser.

A 48-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, both from the Kingston Peninsula, were arrested at the scene.

They were released with conditions pending a future court date.
