18th Annual Atlantic Nationals Set To Kick Off In Moncton

Classic car enthusiasts are converging on the Hub City, in advance of the Atlantic Nationals.

It gets underway July 4th and runs until July 8th.

Show Chairman Bill Doherty says the kickoff will be held across from Toys for Big Boys on Salisbury Road, “There will be a cruise in there in the afternoon. Another cruise in will be held at Action Car and Truck Accessories tomorrow evening. Thursday is a participants day.”

The show includes hot rods, custom cars, antique cars and pick up trucks.

“It is speciality interest show for folks who are automotively inclined,” Doherty says.

On Friday, Main Street is closed down, and there’s an opportunity for everyone to get a glance of some of the vehicles.

About 2000 cars are put on display at Centennial Park over the weekend.
