Sue Stultz Turkey Drive Adds One More Day

The Sue Stultz and Moncton Firefighters Turkey Drive has been extended.

On Friday evening, the annual campaign that aims to have a turkey on every table in Southeast New Brunswick for Christmas ended without reaching their goal.

They closed down back at the St George Fire station on Friday night with 1889 turkeys.

An update came from Turkey Central over the weekend, and a very generous donation on Saturday increased the total number of turkeys donated so far to 3274.

Food banks also adjusted their needs, and the goal has been reduced to 3557.

Turkey central will be open again Monday from 10 am until 5 pm with the hopes of bringing them to their goal. Only 283 birds are needed!
