Influenza Cases Rising In NB

The number of flu cases continues to rise in the province.

Since the beginning of the flu season, 462 positive cases have been reported in New Brunswick.

One hundred and twenty people have been hospitalized and 9 people have died.

These stats are from a weekly influenza report issued by the Government of New Brunswick.

Two hundred and twenty-nine positive cases were reported between November 13 and 19th.

Across the country, surveillance shows numbers are above-expected levels that are typical for this time of year.
