NB Gas Prices Fall Due To Interrupter Clause

A bit of a break for motorists at the pumps today.

The maximum cost of regular self-serve is down by 7.3 cents this morning to $1.565 per litre.

This comes after the Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause overnight.

Diesel and furnace oil stayed the same.

The Energy and Utilities Board will make its usual weekly price adjustment at midnight tonight. No word yet on whether prices will be up or down.
