Honouring those lost from the homeless community in 2025

A moment of silence for 31 people lost.

They were individuals in Moncton’s community experiencing homelessness or who were vulnerably housed.

They passed away in 2025.

Community Coordinator for the Greater Moncton Homelessness Steering Committee, Andrea Anne, read their names aloud during a Moncton City Council meeting this week.

Councillors took a moment to remember them.

Anne says these are not just names on a list, they were cherished friends, beloved family members and neighbours.
