Hundreds helped to deliver food boxes to 1700 households in need for the Christmas season.
The boxes were packed with items including a turkey or turkey loaf, canned goods and other necessities for a Christmas dinner, plus a few extras.
Donations were collected by the Peter McKee Community Food Centre during the 30 Days of Community Caring event.
Funds were raised to fill each box. $170, 000 was raised, which means around $100 worth of food for each box.
