Information sought from Moncton robbery

Help is needed to identify a person of interest in connection with a robbery in Moncton.

RCMP say the robbery was reported at around 4:55 pm on November 15. It allegedly happened in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Mountai Road.

A woman approached a parked car, opened the door and took some jewelry from the passenger.

After a brief fight, the woman left the scene on foot before officers arrived.

At the time of the robbery, RCMP say she was wearing a pink and black headscarf.

The passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are now asking anyone who was travelling or who lives in that area and may have a security camera or dash cam footage in connection with the incident to contact Codiac RCMP or Crimestoppers.
