Wet start to the week for parts of N.B.

Keep those umbrellas handy for a couple of days.

Moncton and southeast New Brunswick and Fundy National Park are currently under special weather statements.

Environment Canada is calling for up to 50 millimetres of rain to fall on Monday, and into the night and again on Tuesday morning.

Meteorologists say rainfall intensity and amounts could vary considerably over short distances, even within the same county, and with this system, there remains some uncertainty as to exactly where the heaviest rainfall in these regions will occur.
