Fatal crash involving bicycle and motorcycle

A crash involving a bicycle and a motorcycle has left one dead and one seriously injured.

RCMP say it’s believed the two vehicles were travelling southbound on St. Andre Road on Thursday night when they collided.

A 15-year-old boy from Saint-André who was riding a bicycle died at the scene.

The 50-year-old Grand Falls man who was on the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The Drummond and Saint-André Fire Departments, Ambulance New Brunswick, and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene.
