Man Arrested After Assault In Northern New Brunswick

A man from Eel River Crossing, N.B. has been arrested after an assault with a weapon.

On November 7th, Campbellton RCMP received a report that a man had been shot.

When they arrived, they found a 49-year-old man had been shot twice in the leg.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 70-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
